Editorial Policy
How we keep the numbers honest: sourcing, verification, dating, and corrections.
Sourcing
Fee percentages, DevEx rates, and thresholds come from Roblox's own published help articles and announcements. We link to those sources on the pages where the numbers appear so you can verify them yourself.
One source of truth
Every rate and fee used across the site lives in a single configuration file. Worked examples, calculator results, and structured data all read from it, so a figure can't drift between the calculator and the copy around it.
Verification and dating
We review the figures against Roblox's sources and record a verified date (currently 2026-07-18). Content pages show a “last updated” date, and rate-sensitive figures carry effective dates where they apply, for example the legacy DevEx rate used before September 5, 2025.
Corrections
If we find or are told about an error, we fix it and update the relevant dates. Please report issues through the contact page with the values you used and the date you saw the problem.
Independence
RBXKit is independent of Roblox Corporation. Our goal is accuracy and clarity for creators, not to represent Roblox. Where our estimates and Roblox's official figures ever disagree, treat Roblox as authoritative.
