What is the Roblox tax?
Roblox charges a marketplace fee, commonly called the Roblox tax, on items and Game Passes sold for Robux. The standard fee is 30%, so the creator keeps 70% of the sale price.
Is the platform fee the same as the DevEx rate?
No. The 30% platform fee is deducted when Robux changes hands inside Roblox. The DevEx rate is a separate figure that converts eligible Earned Robux into real USD when you cash out. They are unrelated numbers.
